The week of September 3rd
During my bi-weekly meeting with EVP Reyes we discussed the progress of Liberal Arts toward Outcomes Assessment and how to continue moving toward 100% assessment.  In general, I use these meetings as a way of keeping him abreast of the "hot topics" in Liberal Arts.  It is also an opportunity to ask about how the District is doing on any number of topics.  For the most part, these conversations with the EVP are frank and open. 

The Student Equity Plan Task Force has been asked to review and update our prior plan.  Dean Vines is running these meetings in conjunction with Peter Cammish, our Director of Research and Planning.  We have been working in earnest on this project since the beginning of the semester.

My goal is to provide you with a few quick updates on what is going on at Solano Community College related to Liberal Arts.  I'll do my best to provide you with notes, agendas, documents, hand-outs, etc... from the different meetings and events that I attend (and in which I represent you).
